This FN SAFN Model 1949 was part of the Egyptian contract purchase in the late forties, early fifties. It has been refinished. The metal had rusted and was treated and re-coated. It has a new barrel. The gas system has been adjusted and it operates very well. It has had a Browning BAR magazine fit in place which doubles the magazine capacity to 20 rounds. It has a positive connection safety, has a dust cover and features a cocking indicator on the trigger guard. Includes 133 rounds of ammunition and 3 stripper clips.
