This is a vintage Marlin model 336-A…lever action RIFLE, not a carbine…..chambered in 30-30 Winchester. This rare rifle was made in 1950. The “JM” marked barrel is 24 inches long with an excellent bore. The overall length is 42 inches, and the length of pull is 13.5 inches. The action works properly based on visual inspection. The lever locks up nice and tight. It has the original blue finish, great shape with no significant wear or flaws. The top of the receiver has the 4X WEAVER scope mounted on.
