In excellent overall condition, this M1 rifle is going to make a great shooter for the winner. The stock is a very nice, straight grain, matching walnut CMP stock set. No cracks or damage. which puts production at 4/43. The barrel is dated 10/63, with a strong, clean bore with some frosting. The bolt is a 12SA, the trigger housing is 7SA, and the op rod is a standard post war SA. We posted a pic of a 30-06 round standing up in the muzzle, so you can see the muzzle is strong and not worn out. Also included in the sale is the bayonet as shown.
