This PENNY START NO RESERVE auction is for an Inland M1 Carbine chambered in 30 Carbine. According to my research the rifle was made in early August 1943. The barrel is dated September 1943 and made by Inland. The barrel is import marked on the underside. The rifle has no bayonet lug. The stock is an early style with the letters O-RMC stamped near the rear sling attachment point. There are some handling marks on the stock and a small crack on the right side near the charging handle.
