Smith & Wesson Model 29-2 Presentation Target .44 magnum revolver as new in the original display from 1975. Hard to find a time capsule like this, the flocking in the case is THE ORIGINAL, she even has the yellow strap present to lift the flocking to access the paperwork. She features S&W's Master polished nickel plating, case hard target hammer, case hardened target trigger, low production 4" length barrel, 6 shot fluted cylinder and last but not least factory checkered Goncalo Alves target grips. The package is complete with the original walnut display case, original blue flocking, all of the tools, manual and literature. The mirror polished nickel plating is 100% original and almost flawless… there is no holster wear, no edge wear, no flaking, crisp roll marks and the finish is like looking into a mirror. Despite being three quarters of a century old, in our opinion there are zero noteworthy detractions and you will find only miniscule handling marks. Looking inside the frame she is crisp, the cylinder face shows little to no carbon fouling, bore is bright, lands and grooves show like new, the firing pin area shows immaculate, lock up is tight, timing is spot on and the action breaks like glass. This is one hell of an original time capsule and a fine piece of S&W History
